Republican scientific-practical conference on "Modern radiotechnical weapons" was held at the National Defense University.The conference was attended by representatives of the Defense Ministry and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, officers and teaching staff of the National Defense University, as well as other guests.

Various activities were accomplished within tactical-special exercise on the topic "Conducting combat operations in snowdrifts and severe cold" held with Special Forces’ units and subunits in accordance with the training plan for 2024.

In accordance with the training plan for 2024, the graduation ceremony of the next Commando Initial Course was held.

On March 11, at 12:10, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions located in the direction of the Chinarli settlement of the Tovuzgala region attempted to carry out reconnaissance flights with a quadrocopter over the positions of the Azerbaijan Army stationed in the direction of the Asrik settlement of the Tovuz region.

2024 training year’s first bilateral command-staff exercise was held with relevant combined-arms formations of the Combined Arms Army.

According to the joint action plan for 2024 signed between the Ministry of Defense and the State Committee on Religious Associations, representatives of the committee met with servicemen and held enlightenment talks with them.

A series of events dedicated to 8 March - International Women's Day were held with the participation of female servicemen, civilian workers serving in the Azerbaijan Army and families of Shehids.

Within the framework of the visit to the Republic of Türkiye, the delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with Selcuk Bayraktar, Chief Technology Officer of Baykar company which is part of the fraternal country’s defense industrial complex.
