International Army Games

The Azerbaijan Army have taken part in the International Army Games since 2015. Since then the servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army have participated in the following competitions:
1. Tank biathlon
2. Sniper frontier
3. Military medical relay race
4. Field kitchen
5. Masters of artillery fire
6. Sea Cup
Usually the “Sea Cup” competition is organized in the territory of Azerbaijan Republic.
The representatives of Azerbaijan won the first place in the “Sea Cup” three times, the 3rd place in "Masters of Artillery Fire" and "Field Kitchen" contests, also took the 4th place among the strongest teams in the "Tank Biathlon" in 2019 and 2020.
Azerbaijani military personnel successfully participated in "Tank Biathlon" and “Cultural Army” in Russia, “Sea Cup” in Iran and "Masters of Artillery Fire" in Kazakhstan, within the framework of the “International Army Games-2021”.
So that, our team participating the “Sea Cup” competition with Navy G-122 and G-124 patrol boats took the 3rd place, the team participating "Masters of Artillery Fire" took the 3rd place among the teams of nine countries, and the 4th place among the nineteen countries.
It should be noted that the number of the competitions that Azerbaijan Army takes part increases every year.
From August 13 to 27, 2022, within the framework of the International Army Games-2022, the teams of the Azerbaijan Army participated in the "Tank Biathlon" in the Russian Federation, "Masters of Artillery Fire" in the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Sniper Frontier" in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the "Cup of the sea" in the territorial waters of the Caspian Sea, organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
From August 13 to August 27, 2022, the Sea Cup competition was held in Azerbaijan. The teams of Azerbaijan and Russia scored equal points and awarded the first place.
On the same dates, the Azerbaijani team took the 6th place in the "Tank Biathlon" competition held in the Russian Federation, 3rd place in the "Masters of Artillery Fire" competition held in the Republic of Kazakhstan and 5th place in the "Sniper Limit" competition held in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The number of competitions in which the representatives of the Azerbaijani Army participate increases every year.
