Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army held the next graduation ceremony of the Reserve Officer Training Course.

The graduation ceremony for the 34th edition of the 10-week NATO Regional Cooperation Course (NRCC-34) took place at the NATO Defense College (NDC) in Rome, Italy.

In accordance with the training plan for 2025 approved by the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the military oath-taking ceremonies for young soldiers were held in the Azerbaijan Army on November 9.

According to the plan approved by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a series of events were held in the Azerbaijan Army on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of 8 November – Victory Day.During the events, military personnel visited the Alley of Shehids, laid flowers on the graves of our brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, and honored their memory.

On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of Victory Day, events were held at Azerbaijan’s foreign representations and offices of military attachés accredited in those countries.First at the events, attended by employee of foreign embassies, heads of diplomatic missions and military attachés, representatives of defense ministries, and other guests, the memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, was honored with a minute of silence.

Military Parade dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War was held at Azadlig Square in Baku.President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended the parade.The national anthems of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan were performed.The memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and heroic martyrs of Azerbaijan was honored with a minute of silence.Minister of Defense Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov reported to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.The head of state delivered a speech at the parade.President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the event.Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif delivered a speech.The military parade began following the speeches by heads of state.The parade is commanded by the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, holder of the "Victory" and "Karabakh" orders.The parade squads of the Armed Forces advanced towards the grandstand under the National Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On Victory Day, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and a group of servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army visited the graves of the National Leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and Martyrs.

On November 7, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a limited format meeting with Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
