Delegation from Turkish National Defense University, led by Lieutenant General Burhan Aktaş, Deputy Rector of the University, comprising senior staff and faculty members of the Land Forces, Air Force, and Naval Forces academies, as well as participants of the "Staff Management Course" conducted at those institutions, is visiting Azerbaijan.

Pursuant to the Partnership for Peace Programme between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and NATO for 2026, a course is being conducted in Baku by the NATO Allied LANDCOM Mobile Training Team.

Graduation ceremony for the first cohort of Nakhchivan Military College under the National Defense University was held.

Graduation ceremony was held for the graduates of Baku Military College under the National Defense University, and the Faculty of Military Medicine of Azerbaijan Medical University major in “Military Paramedic Work” program.The ceremony commenced with visits to the monument of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and to the Memorial Complex dedicated to the institute’s servicemen who were martyred during the Patriotic War.

In accordance with the 2026 training plan, the first graduation ceremony of the HMG Training Course was held at the Training and Educational Center of the Air Force.

XII International "Aibyn-2026" Military-Patriotic Youth Gathering, held in the city of Shchuchinsk, Akmola region, the Republic of Kazakhstan, has concluded with the participation of teams representing Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia.

Pursuant to the relevant order of the Azerbaijan Minister of Defense, demonstration classes were held for the attendees of the Officer Specialization Course at the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army.

Pursuant to the approved cooperation plan, the "Caucasus Eagle-2026" Joint Special Tactical Exercise, conducted at the Mukhrovani Military Base near Tbilisi bringing together special forces members from Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye, has successfully concluded.

On the occasion of 26 June – Armed Forces Day and the 108th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Army, the military orchestra of the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute, operating under the National Defense University, and the Turkish Armed Forces Harmony Band performed a concert at Fountains Square in Baku.

On the occasion of 26 June – Armed Forces Day, a series of events was held across the Azerbaijan Army, including types of troops branches, army corps, formations, military units, Combined Arms Army, special military educational institutions, as well as the military attaché offices of the Republic of Azerbaijan in foreign countries.
