Graduation ceremony for the first cohort of Nakhchivan Military College under the National Defense University was held. 
The event was attended by the Commander of the Combined Arms Army, Lieutenant General Kanan Seyidov, the Minister of Education of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Elkhan Najafov, along with other senior officials. The memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and the Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland was honored with a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was then performed.
Subsequently, Chief of the Nakhchivan Military College reported to the Commander of the Combined Arms Army on the preparations for the graduation ceremony.
In his address, the Commander congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future service. He emphasized the importance of serving the Motherland with loyalty, upholding the military oath at all times, and preserving with dignity the honorable title of an Azerbaijani serviceman.
Deputy Rector of the National Defense University for Science and Education, Major General Arif Hasanov congratulated the graduates on this significant occasion and wished them honorable service to the Motherland and continuous professional development as military personnel.
During the ceremony, certificates and valuable gifts were presented to college graduates.
The graduate with the highest academic distinction affixed graduation emblem to the symbolic stump, after which the handover and acceptance ceremony of the Battle Flag of the Nakhchivan Military College was conducted.
The event concluded with a ceremonial march-past by the personnel.
