On June 14, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov received a delegation led by the Deputy Chief of Office for International Military Cooperation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, Major General Yao Qin visiting Azerbaijan.

On June 14, at 07:15, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the direction of Khachik settlement of Soylan region using small arms subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of Akhura settlement of Sharur region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

On June 13, at 19:50, the Armenian armed forces units using small arms subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of Yukhari Buzgov settlement of Babak region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.Azerbaijan Army Units took retaliatory measures in the mentioned direction.

In accordance with the Individual Partnership Cooperation Programme with NATO for 2024, the Mobile Training Team of the NATO Air Force Command is conducting a course on "Management and Control of airspace at Air Force" with the personnel of the Air Force in Baku.

On June 12, from 10:05 to 17:50, the Armenian armed forces units using small arms several times subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of Havush settlement of Sharur region, Nurgut settlement of Ordubad region, Guney Gishlag settlement of Sahbuz region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.Azerbaijan Army Units took retaliatory measures in the mentioned directions.

Solemn ceremony dedicated to the closing of Caucasian Eagle - 2024 international exercise held.The closing ceremony commenced with commemorating the memory of Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the liberation of the lands from the enemy.

A meeting was held in Baku between representatives of the Press Service of the Main Department for Personnel of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry and the Strategic Communications and Public Relations Department of the Georgian Defense Ministry.

The graduation ceremony of the Officer Training Course was held at the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army under the National Defense University of the Defense Ministry.

The process of withdrawal of the Russian Federation's peacekeeping contingent, which was temporarily deployed in the territory of Azerbaijan after the Patriotic War, from the territory of our country ended on June 12.The peacekeeping contingent’s personnel, weapons and equipment have completely left our territory.

According to the approved plan, the Caucasian Eagle - 2024 tactical special exercise, held in our country with the participation of special forces from Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Georgia, came to an end.
