“Report on the Azerbaijan Army’s Peacekeeping Operations” was presented within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Center of Analysis of International Relations.
The event gathered representatives of the Azerbaijan Republic Presidential Administration, Milli Majlis, Security Council, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Center of Analysis of International Relations, representatives of think tanks and the media.
Speaking at the presentation jointly prepared by the Center of Analysis of International Relations and the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense, the speakers stated that the Azerbaijani servicemen's demonstration of high-level professionalism, discipline, and responsibility while serving in various international missions have been highly appreciated by partner states and international organizations.
The speakers also underlined that these activities represent not only the fulfilment of Azerbaijan’s international commitments, but have also made a significant contribution to strengthening the country’s position as a reliable partner, enhancing its international standing, and expanding opportunities for international cooperation.
It was further emphasized that these achievements are the logical outcome of the comprehensive military reforms and modernization efforts carried out under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
State-led initiatives also include the continued enhancement of the capabilities and operational capacity of Azerbaijan's peacekeeping units to ensure their readiness to address future challenges.
