Pursuant to the annual action plan approved by the Minister of Defence, a series of events were held in army corps, formations, and military units subordinated to the Ministry on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.

In accordance with the training plan for 2025 approved by the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the military oath-taking ceremonies for young soldiers were held in the Azerbaijan Army on May 10.

A chess tournament dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held among special educational institutions under the National Defense University.

Under the organization of the Ministry of Defence, media tours were organized on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev at the Jamshid Nakhchivanski and Heydar Aliyev Military Lyceums operating under the National Defence University.

The closing ceremony of the minifootball championship dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani nation, Heydar Aliyev, was held among servicemen of the troops (forces) of the Azerbaijan Army, the main departments and departments of the Ministry, and special military educational institutions, in accordance with the relevant order of the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army.
