A chess tournament dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held among special educational institutions under the National Defense University. 
The tournament, organized to strengthen team spirit and foster a healthy competitive environment, contributed to the development of participants’ intellectual abilities, as well as their decision-making, analytical thinking, and initiative skills.
Held in a highly competitive atmosphere with the participation of eight teams, the tournament concluded with the Intellectual Capabilities Unit taking first place, the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute team securing second place, and the Military Management Institute team finishing third.
The tournament ended with the winners being awarded a cup, certificates of merit, and medals.
