The closing ceremony of the minifootball championship dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani nation, Heydar Aliyev, was held among servicemen of the troops (forces) of the Azerbaijan Army, the main departments and departments of the Ministry, and special military educational institutions, in accordance with the relevant order of the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army. 
Held at the Central Army Sports Club, the tournament began with a minute of silence in memory of the National Leader and the Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland. The National Anthem was performed accompanied by the military orchestra.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Colonel Javid Aghayev, representing the Ministry of Defense, emphasized that such competitions play an important role in maintaining a high level of physical fitness among military personnel and strengthening team spirit. He congratulated the winning teams on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and wished them success in their future service.
It is worth mentioning that the final match, officiated by a referee from the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), was contested between the teams of the Navy and the Air Forces. In a highly competitive game, the Navy team emerged as the winner of the championship.
At the end of the event, the winning teams were awarded cups and medals.
