On the occasion of June 26 – Armed Forces Day and the 107th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Army, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and other officials visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Victory Park.

On June 25, the Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with the servicemen of the Ministry of Defense who were conferred the high military rank in accordance with the relevant Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The leadership of the Turkish National Defense University’s (NDU) Land Forces Military Institute and listeners of the “Headquarters Management Course” headed by Vice-Rector of the Turkish NDU, Professor Serdar Salman is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

A training with psychologists was conducted at the Military Management Institute of the National Defense University to enhance the knowledge and skills of psychologists serving in the Azerbaijan Army and to ensure their more effective performance in extreme conditions.First, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with a minute of silence.

In accordance with the bilateral military cooperation plan signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, a specialist meeting was held between the Air Forces of both countries in Baku.The sides exchanged views on the current state and prospective capabilities of the Air Forces of Azerbaijan and Serbia.During the expert meeting, other issues of mutual interest were also discussed, and questions were answered.

In accordance with the agreement on military education between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, a graduation ceremony was held for Azerbaijani graduates who completed their studies at the S.M.

An event was held at the Azerbaijan Military History Museum, organized by the Ministry of Defense, with the participation of servicemen, representatives of various media entities and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), as well as experts.

A joint military exercise was held in Istanbul with the participation of officer cadets studying at the academic level of the National Defence Universities (NDU) of Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

On the occasion of the upcoming Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, visited the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute and met with the officers, cadets, and academic staff of the institution.

In accordance with the military cooperation plan between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, a working meeting was held in Baku between military experts of both countries in the fields of communications and information technologies.
