Pursuant to the program for the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania, a delegation from the Military Police Department of the Ministry of Defense visited the city of Vilnius.

Events marking Gurban Bayram and 28 May, Independence Day, were held in the types of troops (forces), army corps, formations and special educational institutions across the Azerbaijan Army.

In accordance with the annual training plan approved by the Minister of Defense, a military pentathlon championship was held among servicemen of the types of troops (forces) of the Azerbaijan Army and special military educational institutions.

In line with the training plan approved for the current year by the Azerbaijan Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, a following training session involving a group of reservists was conducted in one of the military units of the Special Forces.

Event titled “Museums Are Our Past and Our Future,” dedicated to International Museum Day, was held at the Azerbaijan Military History Museum.

In accordance with the action plan approved by the Minister of Defense for 2026, a familiarization visit to the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan was organized for foreign states’ military attachés accredited in Azerbaijan.

A delegation led by the Head of the National Defense University of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Baurzhan Abzhanov visited Azerbaijan.
