According to the instruction of the Defense Minister, a series of events on the occasion of June 1 - International Day for Protection of Children were held.At the events, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence.

Within the framework of the NATO Individually Tailored Partnership Programme (ITPP) and the Planning and Analysis Process (PARP), a bilateral working meeting between Azerbaijan Army’s servicemen and NATO experts on these programmes was held at the International Military Cooperation Department of the Defense Ministry.

On May 30, starting from 11:55 to 16:25, members of illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily deployed, using various caliber weapons periodically subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of the Aghdam and Shusha regions.
