In pursuance of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on declaring 2024 as the “Green World Solidarity Year” in Azerbaijan, the events held in the Azerbaijan Army continue according to the instructions of Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.

The process of providing permanent residence apartments to servicemen (active-duty servicemen, discharged servicemen, or their heirs) who distinguished themselves by exemplary military service for 20 calendar years or more continues in order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On measures to strengthen the social protection of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan” dated December 28, 2011.

According to the training plan for 2024 approved by the Minister of Defense, the kettlebell lifting championship was held among servicemen at the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army.

Combined Arms Army continues practical classes on combat training in the Rocket and Artillery formations, units and subunits in training ranges and areas in accordance with the plan.

Combined Arms Army holds session on the commander training system with commanders and deputies of battalions and batteries.

Republican scientific-practical conference on "Modern radiotechnical weapons" was held at the National Defense University.The conference was attended by representatives of the Defense Ministry and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, officers and teaching staff of the National Defense University, as well as other guests.

Various activities were accomplished within tactical-special exercise on the topic "Conducting combat operations in snowdrifts and severe cold" held with Special Forces’ units and subunits in accordance with the training plan for 2024.

In accordance with the training plan for 2024, the graduation ceremony of the next Commando Initial Course was held.

On March 11, at 12:10, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions located in the direction of the Chinarli settlement of the Tovuzgala region attempted to carry out reconnaissance flights with a quadrocopter over the positions of the Azerbaijan Army stationed in the direction of the Asrik settlement of the Tovuz region.
