Remembrance ceremony was held in the Second Alley of Shehids on the occasion of the birthday of the National Hero of Azerbaijan, the Shehid of the Second Karabakh War, Colonel Shukur Hamidov.

The tracking and surveillance means of the Armenian armed forces, which had been detected in advance in trenches, firing positions, strongholds and in permanent dislocations were eliminated as legitimate military targets at the initial stage of the anti-terror operation conducted by the Azerbaijan Army in the Karabakh region.

Under the instruction of the Azerbaijan Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, commemorative events on 31 March – the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis were held in the Army Corps, formations, military units, and special educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Army.

Recently, the concentration of manpower, armored vehicles, artillery installations, and other heavy firepower of the Armenian armed forces and intensive movement of its troops in different directions of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conditional border is observed.

After the anti-terror operation conducted by the Azerbaijan Army, measures are being taken to find and evacuate the military equipment, weapons and ammunition which used to belong to the Armenian armed forces in the Karabakh region.

In accordance with the joint action plan for 2024, representatives of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited one of the military units of the Air Force.

On March 30, Azerbaijan Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov held an official meeting at the Central Command Post.

Representatives of the Military Attaché Office of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Belarus visited the grave of the Azerbaijan National Hero of Belarusian origin, Davidovich Anatoliy Nikolayevich on the occasion of the anniversary of his birth, laid flowers and paid tribute to his memory on behalf of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry.

Under the training plan approved for 2024 by the Azerbaijan Defense Minister, a command-staff exercise was held in one the military units.

In accordance with the training plan and program of the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev for 2023-2024, practical classes are held with cadets of the Naval Forces faculty.
