Activities on the execution of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the conscription of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan for active military service and the discharge of servicemen from active military service to the reserve for the period of October 1-30, 2023, continue in the Azerbaijan Army.

The “Eternity-2023” computer-assisted Command and Staff Exercises held in Baku with the participation of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian servicemen ended.

On October 6, a delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov paid a visit to Azerbaijan.

On October 5, at about 14:50, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the direction of Azizli and Ashaghi Shorzha settlements of the Basarkechar region using various caliber weapons subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of Yellija settlement of the Kalbajar region.

Activities for the next episodes are worked out in the "Khazri-2023" Joint Tactical Exercises held in Azerbaijan with the participation of warships and military personnel of the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, as well as Iran’s Naval Forces delegation as observers.

Azerbaijan Army’s training military units continue to admit conscripts with regard to the implementation of the relevant Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on calling up the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan to active military service on October 1-30, 2023.New conscripts are registered at the reception points of military units.

According to the joint action plan signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Khazri-2023" Joint Tactical Exercises with the participation of warships and military personnel of the naval forces of both countries continue.

The delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrived in Baku to take part as an observer in the “Khazri-2023” Joint Tactical Exercises held in Azerbaijan with the participation of warships and servicemen of the Azerbaijani and Kazakh Naval Forces.
