Media and Public Affairs Department of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense hosted a working meeting gathering representatives of the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan, Hungary, and Kazakhstan to facilitate the exchange of expertise and best practices in the field of military information.

Leadership of the Ministry of Defense visited the military units of the Combined Arms Army (CAA) and inspected the organization of service and combat activities, as well as the social and living conditions provided for military personnel.

On August 11, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Victorious Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended a ceremony in Nakhchivan dedicated to the presentation of Battle Flags to the newly established operational (commando) military units of the Separate Combined Arms Army.

Azerbaijan Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with the military attachés assigned to the embassies of the Republic of Azerbaijan abroad.

Representatives of the Ombudsman's Office visited one of the Land Forces military units pursuant to the 2026 Joint Action Plan signed between the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense and the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman).

Graduation ceremony for the latest Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Course was held in one of the military units of the Naval Forces.
