A series of events are being held in the types of troops, military units and formations, as well as special military educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Army within the framework of the “Human Rights Month”.At the events, enlightening talks on human and civil rights and freedoms are held with servicemen, and videos are shown.During the speeches, it is noted that on June 18, 1998, the National Leader Heydar Aliyev approved the first “State Program on the Protection of Human Rights”.

Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Commander of the Land Forces, Colonel General Hikmat Mirzayev met with a delegation led by the Commander of the 1st Army of the Land Forces of the Republic of Türkiye, Army General Metin Tokel.

"Anatolian Phoenix - 2025" International Search and Rescue Exercise held in Konya, Türkiye, has successfully concluded.

According to the Protocol of Intent between the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Minister of Defense of the Italian Republic on cooperation in the field of training and education of Naval Forces personnel, commemorative gifts are presented on behalf of the Naval Forces Command to distinguished graduates in both countries’ special military institutions to promote education.

A delegation led by Major General Stefan Fix, Headquarters Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS) Deputy Chief of Staff for Support pays a visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In accordance with the training plan for 2025, a graduation ceremony was held at the Azerbaijan Air Force’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Academy for specialists in the "Orbiter 3HC" UAV systems.

The "Araz-2025" joint exercise, held with the participation of Azerbaijani and Iranian servicemen servsuccessfully concluded.

The delegation led by the President of the Centre for Higher Defense Studies of Italian National Defense University, Lieutenant General Stefano Mannino visited the National Defense University (NDU), the War Games Center, the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev, the Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski, and one of the military units of the Naval Forces.

The next tasks were fulfilled during the "Anatolian Phoenix - 2025" International Search and Rescue Exercise held in Konya, Türkiye.First, in accordance with the exercise plan, a briefing was given to the participants regarding safety rules, clarification of the assigned tasks on the map and their fulfillment sequence, as well as the terrain and climate of the area where the search and rescue activities to be carried out.According to the plan, activities on parachute training and search-and-rescue operations were successfully carried out.The main objectives in fulfilling the tasks assigned during the exercise are to improve the personnel’s parachute skills, further enhance combat and special training levels, and to ensure interoperability and exchange of experience among servicemen of the participating countries.It should be noted that Azerbaijan Air Force’s pilots, along with representatives of the paratrooper and search-and-rescue services, technical staff and aircraft represent Azerbaijan in the international search and rescue exercise.
