The troops of the Nakhchivan garrison held training sessions with snipers.

Practical exercises in shooting and fire control were conducted in Nakhchivan with artillery units and subunits of the army and motorized rifle formations.

F-16 Fighter aircrafts of Turkish Air Force arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in joint exercises "TurAz Qartalı-2019".

A briefing in regard with the start of the "Eternity-2019" computer-assisted Command and Staff Exercises with the participation of servicemen from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia was held at the Center for War Games of the Armed Forces.

According to the approved decree №755 of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 17 August 2002, prior to 1 September 2019, the Armed Forces Relief Fund's AZN account amounted to 102.500.283,98 Manats, dollar account amounted to 213.577,88 USD, the euro account amounted to 17.266,0 Euros and the ruble account amounted to 5000,0 Rubles.

Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov and the Baku City Main Department of Culture have organized a concert program for the servicemen of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia who will take part in the “Eternity-2019” Exercises.

Orienteering championship was held among the military personnel of the Nakhchivan garrison.

An official meeting under the leadership of the Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and with the participation of Deputy Defense Ministers, Commanders of types of troops, Chiefs of Main Departments, Departments and Services of the Ministry, Commanders of Army Corps, as well as commanders and other officials of formations, stationed in frontline zone involved via the video communication was held at the Central Command Post on August 31.
