A large group of flight and engineering-technical staff of the Turkish Air Force has arrived in Ganja to participate in the "TurAz Qartalı-2020" Joint Flight-Tactical Exercises.

The first stage of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Live-Fire Joint Large-Scale Tactical Exercises is being held.

On July 29 in the evening, the units of the armed forces of Armenia, using the tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), attempted to carry out a reconnaissance flight over the positions of the units of the Azerbaijan Army in the direction of the Tovuz district on the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border.

During the training-methodological session held with young officers who graduated from the Azerbaijan Military Academy named after Heydar Aliyev and the Military Medical Faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical University this year and serving in relevant positions in military units, the main attention was focused on improving tactical knowledge and decision-making skills of officers.

A group of servicemen and the aircraft of the Turkish Armed Forces participating in the Azerbaijani-Turkish Live-Fire Joint Large-Scale Tactical and Flight-Tactical Exercises arrived in Nakhchivan.

A solemn welcoming ceremony was held in regard to the arrival in Baku of the military personnel of the Turkish Armed Forces involved in the Azerbaijani-Turkish Live Fire Joint Large-Scale Tactical and Flight-Tactical Exercises with the participation of the Land Forces and the Air Force of both countries.

In accordance with the Agreement on Military Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey, Azerbaijani-Turkish Live Fire Joint Large-Scale Tactical and Flight-Tactical Exercises with the participation of the Land Forces and Air Forces of both countries will be held in Nakhchivan.

In accordance with the Agreement on Military Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey, according to the annual plan, Azerbaijani-Turkish Live Fire Joint Large-Scale Tactical and Flight-Tactical Exercises will be held in our country with the participation of the Land Forces and the Air Force of both countries.

Under the instruction of the Minister of Defense, on the anniversary of the death of Lieutenant Colonel Rashad Atakishiev, the military pilot of MiG-29 of the Air Force of Azerbaijan crashed during training flights representatives of the ministry visited his grave, laid a wreath and honored his memory.
