A graduation ceremony was held for graduates of the “Military Paramedic Work” specialty of the Baku Military College of the National Defense University and the Military Medical Faculty of Azerbaijan Medical University.

A ceremony dedicated to the 25th graduation of the Command-Staff Academic Course of the Military Management Institute was held at the National Defense University.

In accordance with the 2025 bilateral military cooperation plan between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, a meeting was held in Baku between representatives of the two countries' Defense Ministries.

On June 28, a graduation ceremony was held at the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev.The event held at the military institute was attended by Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, other senior officials of the Ministry, teachers, graduates, their families, as well as representatives of the public and the media.First, the monument to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, erected on the territory of the military institute, as well as the Memorial Complex dedicated to the servicemen of the institute who became Shehids in the Patriotic War, were visited.

The delegation led by the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev observed the “Defender of Peace – 2025” international exercise held in Istanbul.

The visit of the leadership of the Turkish National Defence University’s (NDU) Land Forces Military Institute and the “Headquarters Management Course” listeners, headed by Vice-Rector of the Turkish NDU, Professor Serdar Salman to Azerbaijan is ongoing.

A delegation led by the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, has departed for Istanbul at the invitation of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Türkiye, Army General Metin Gürak.

On the occasion of June 26 – Armed Forces Day and the 107th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Army, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense visited the Main Clinical Hospital.
