On February 4 in the afternoon, an explosion occurred in the territory of the Aghdam region.

Several festive events on the occasion of February 2 – Youth Day were held in the Air Force and Naval Forces, Army Corps, formations, military units, and special military-educational institutions, as well as in the Ideological and Cultural Centers of the garrisons.

According to the "Plan for coordination of the troops of the Nakhchivan garrison for the 2021 training year," approved by the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, a new training year has begun in the garrison troops.

A new training year started in the Army Corps, formations, military units, special military-educational institutions, and command and control bodies of the Azerbaijan Army.

The active phase of the Joint Tactical Winter Exercise 2021 held in Kars has begun.

According to the approved decree №1204 of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 8 December 2020, prior to 1 February 2021, the Azerbaijan Army Relief Fund's AZN account amounted to 212.156.968,42 AZN, the dollar account amounted to 11.176.390,65 USD, the Euro account amounted to 183.484,92 EUR, the Turkish lira account amounted to 593.924,33 TRY, the British pound sterling account amounted to 1.844,72 GBP and the ruble account amounted to 5.398.550,00 rubles.
