The joint action plan was signed between the Ministry of Defense and the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan to strengthen the rule of law and military discipline and prevent crimes in the Azerbaijan Army during 2024.

In ensuring the execution of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the conscription of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan for active military service and the discharge of servicemen from active military service to the reserve for the period of January 1-30, 2024, events aimed at the discharge of servicemen, who completed their active military service, are being held in the types of troops (forces), Army Corps, formations and independent military units of the Azerbaijan Army.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ombudsman Office of Azerbaijan signed a Joint Action Plan for 2024.

In pursuance of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on declaring 2024 as the “Green World Solidarity Year” in Azerbaijan, tree-planting campaigns are being held in the Azerbaijan Army according to the instruction of the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.

According to the plan approved by the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, a number of events on the occasion of 31 December – the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and New Year were held in all types of troops, Combined Arms Army, Army Corps, formations and special educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Army.

Under the instruction of the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the Azerbaijan Army’s servicemen visited Shehids’ families in various regions of the republic on the eve of the holidays.

The leadership of the Defense Ministry visited the Main Clinical Hospital on the eve of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year Holiday.

Final meetings on summing up of 2023 were held at the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Main Departments, Departments, Services and independent branches of the Defense Ministry, as well as all types of troops and special educational institutions.
