Under the bilateral military cooperation plan signed between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic, a meeting was held at the Medical Department of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry.

In pursuance of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on declaring 2024 as the “Green World Solidarity Year” in Azerbaijan, the National Defense University held an event according to the instructions of the Defense Minister.

Azerbaijani Army holds a number of events on the occasion of 1 June - International Day for Protection of Children.During a series of events organized by the Defense Ministry, schoolchildren got acquainted with various means of military aviation, in order to protect the health of a group of children of Shehids (Martyrs), the medical examination, treatment and prophylactic checkups were organized.An entertainment program for children was also presented and festive tables were set.

In accordance with the annual action plan approved by the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, a familiarization visit to the one of military units was organized for foreign countries’ military attachés accredited in Azerbaijan.

During the units’ withdrawal to the exercise area, their maneuverability capabilities, as well as the skills of commanders in managing headquarters in the prevailing difficult operational situation and the activities of headquarters in providing comprehensive support to units were checked.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with a delegation led by the Chief of the Main Intelligence Department of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Türkiye, Colonel General İsmail Günaydın, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
