Meeting took place between the Commander of the Azerbaijan Navy, 1st grade Captain Shahin Mammadov and the Chief of the Naval Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Admiral Naveed Ashraf.

On August 5, at about 19:05, while the execution of a supply mission in the Kalbajar region, a military truck struck a mine planted by the Armenian armed forces.

First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev received Chief of the Naval Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, along with his delegation during their visit to Azerbaijan.

On August 2, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev held meeting with members of the families of Turkish Martyrs visiting Azerbaijan at the invitation of the “YAŞAT” Foundation.

Pursuant to the 2025 training plan, the Air Force Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Academy held a graduation ceremony for the UAV specialists.

Graduation ceremony was held in the Combined Arms Army to mark the successful completion of the latest "Long-term active military service servicemen training course." The event commenced with commemorating the bright memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.

The National Defense University was also presented at the exhibition of higher educational institutions, held in the electronic examination building of the State Examination Center in order to assist prospective students in choosing a specialty.

In line with the current year's preparation plan, a seminar on the organization of military service was held at the Military Police Department of the Ministry of Defense with the main assistants of the chiefs of sections (units) for operational and combat training of the army corps and formations of the Azerbaijan Army.

In response to the recent extreme heat conditions, a series of preventive measures have been implemented across army corps, formations, military units, and special educational institutions to mitigate the risk of heatstroke and sunstroke among personnel of the Azerbaijan Army.

Pursuant to the 2025 preparation plan, training flights were conducted with the helicopter units of the Air Force.
