According to the bilateral military cooperation plan for 2024 between the Defense Ministries of Azerbaijan and Serbia, a working meeting of the military experts on engineering support of the two countries on humanitarian mine clearance was held at the International Military Cooperation Department of the Defense Ministry.

A group of servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army’s engineer-sapper units is taking part in courses held in the city of Izmir, Türkiye.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has sent a letter of condolences to the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Lieutenant General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri.The letter says:

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, hosted the 79th General Assembly and Congress of the International Military Sports Council (CISM).

More than 254 hectares of territory were completely cleared of mines in the liberated territories in May this year as a result of the activities of the units and subunits of the Engineering Troops of Azerbaijan Army.
