The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, at the invitation of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov left for an official visit to this country on April 18.

According to the training plan for 2023 approved by the Azerbaijan Defense Minister, the training session for a group of reservists is being held in one of the military units.

A group of military personnel of the Combined Arms Army was sent to the Republic of Türkiye to participate in the "Heydar Aliyev-2023" joint live-fire tactical exercises dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev to be held in Turkish Kars.

In accordance with the training plan for 2023, military pentathlon championships were held among the servicemen of Azerbaijan Army.

In accordance with the combat training plan for 2023 approved by the Minister of Defense, tactical-special exercises were conducted with the military personnel of the Operations Commando units.

In the Heydar Aliyev Museum the officers of the Combined Arms Army got acquainted with the life and rich political heritage of the genius personality as part of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev".

Graduation ceremony was held on the occasion of the successful completion of the next officers improvement, warrant officers, long term active military servicemen and female servicemen courses in the Combined Arms Army.

Within the framework of the Ministry's Communication Strategy, approved by the relevant order of the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, sessions were held with photographers and video operators of institutions and military units of the Defense Ministry.

Foreign countries’ military attachés, accredited to the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the combat training plan for 2023, practical exercises on fire training were carried out in Operations Commando units.
