In accordance with the plan of bilateral military cooperation for 2022 signed between the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defense of Latvia, a working meeting between the STANAG test commissions was held at the National Defense University on October 25.

Starting from 22:20 on October 24 to 01:45 on October 25, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the directions of the Istisu and Zarkand settlements of the Basarkechar region and Chinarli settlement of the Tovuzgala region using various caliber weapons subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of the Istisu, Damirchidam, and Istibulag settlements of the Kalbajar region and Aghdam settlement of the Tovuz region.

On October 24, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov left for a working visit to the Republic of Türkiye.

“Eternity-2022” computer-assisted Command and Staff Exercises have started in Türkiye with the participation of servicemen of Azerbaijan, Georgia and the fraternal country.

Within the framework of the cooperation program for 2022 between the Ministry of Defense and NATO, the servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army participated in the International Military Observers Course held in Hungary.

On October 21, at 22:30, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the direction of the Yukhari Shorzha settlement of the Basarkechar region using small arms subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of the Zaylik settlement of the Kalbajar region.

In accordance with the action plan for military cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Türkiye, tactical exercises were held at the Focha Naval Base in Izmir with the involvement of Azerbaijani servicemen, who had an internship in the Navy of the fraternal country.

During the night of October 20, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the directions of the Gunashli and Yukhari Shorzha settlements of the Basarkechar region using various caliber weapons periodically subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of the Astaf settlement of the Dashkasan region and the Zaylik and Mollabayramli settlements of the Kalbajar region.

On October 20, starting from 16:30 to 17:35, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the directions of the Gunashli and Yukhari Shorzha settlements of the Basarkechar region using various caliber weapons periodically subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of the Astaf settlement of the Dashkasan region and the Zaylik settlement of the Kalbajar region.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Bakhodir Kurbanov visited military units of the Air Force and Naval Forces, as well as the National Defense University.
