The soldier of Azerbaijan Armed Forces private Ahmadov Elvin Suleyman, who was wounded as a result of Armenian armed forces' sabotage, was taken to a military medical facility.

On 1 March 2017, the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in accordance with its mandate plans to conduct the next ceasefire monitoring exercise on the LOC, in the direction of the village Chemenly (Agdam region).

The bodies of our soldiers killed during the suppression of large-scale provocations carried out by Armenian armed forces along the entire frontline in the midnight from 24 to 25 of February, were evacuated from the battlefield with the participation of international mediators.

Appropriate activities on the withdrawal of the dead bodies of servicemen Abdullayev Agshin Ismayil oglu, Nazarov Shahlar Yashar oglu, Gashimli Tural Abdul oglu, Gadimov Zulfu Rahim oglu and Jafarov Zakir Nazim oglu from the battlefield, who were died during the suppression of large-scale provocations carried out by Armenian armed forces along the entire frontline in the midnight from 24 to 25 of February was planned to conduct on February 26 at 12:00 pm with the mediation of the OSCE and the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC).

Armenian Armed Forces continue to take action in order to escalate the situation along the entire frontline.

On February 25, the military units of Azerbaijani Armed Forces have destroyed permanent fire position, shelling the positions of our troops and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armenian armed forces, attempting to carry out the reconnaissance flights over the positions of our Armed Forces in the direction of Talish village.

On February 25 at midnight, the Armenian Armed Forces’ military units have made an attempt to penetrate into the positions of Azerbaijani Armed Forces in different directions with the aim to carry out a large-scale provocation on the frontline.

During the visit of the Defence Ministry’s leadership to the frontline zone the main attention was focused on the adoption of measures to suppress attempt of the Armenian armed forces to carry out provocation in all directions of the frontline.

Defense Ministry leadership took part in the opening of the new training center, headquarters building and soldiers' barracks which were built according to the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr.

Defense Ministry leadership arrived in frontline zone due to the increasing intensity of provocation by the Armenian armed forces, as well as to inspect and assess the level of combat readiness of our troops deployed on the line of confrontation of troops.
