Defense Ministry leadership arrived in frontline zone due to the increasing intensity of provocation by the Armenian armed forces, as well as to inspect and assess the level of combat readiness of our troops deployed on the line of confrontation of troops.
The intelligence data presented to the Minister of Defence shows that enemy conducts regrouping of its forces, as well as holds activities to concentrate artillery systems and other large-caliber weapons near our forward defense line. This fact leads to the conclusion that the enemy has an intention to continue the escalation of the situation.
Azerbaijani Defense Ministry leadership has given concrete instructions to the troops to adopt strict and firm measures in all directions in order to suppress and prevent possible future provocations of the Armenian armed forces.
