On June 26, the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with the servicemen, who had been awarded senior military ranks in accordance with the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On the occasion of 26 June – Armed Forces Day and the 108th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Army, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, along with other officials, visited the grave of the National Leader, Heydar Aliyev, and Victory Park.

On the occasion of 26 June – Armed Forces Day and the 108th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Army, servicemen’s marches accompanied by military orchestra were organized along designated routes on various streets and avenues of the capital, as well as in the cities of Nakhchivan, Sumgayit, Ganja, Barda, Khankendi, Lachin, and Shusha.

Anatolian Eagle-2026 International Tactical Flight Exercise is currently underway at the airbase in Konya, Türkiye.

On June 25, solemn graduation ceremony was held for the graduating class of the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev under the National Defense University (NDU) and the Military Medical Faculty.

In accordance with the training plan for the current year, a seminar on the organization of troop service in the Azerbaijan Army was held at the Military Police Department of the Ministry of Defense.
