Within the working visit to Kazakhstan, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, General Colonel Zakir Hasanov met with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Dauren Kosanov on October 31.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, General Colonel Zakir Hasanov is on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states.

The “Indestructible Partnership-2025” joint special forces exercise, held in Azerbaijan with the Special Forces of the Azerbaijan Army and the units of Special Operations Command of the Presidential Guard of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), came to an end on October 30.

In accordance with the relevant order of the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, a volleyball championship, dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the historic Victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War, has started among servicemen of the types of troops (forces) of the Azerbaijan Army, the main departments and departments of the Ministry of Defense, as well as special educational institutions.

In accordance with the bilateral military cooperation plan signed between the Defense Ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Serbia, a joint tactical exercise involving the artillerymen from the two countries was held.

On October 27, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, received a delegation led by the Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Presidential Guard of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Brigadier General Mohammed Saeed Alsalmi, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.Welcoming the UAE representatives, the Minister of Defense expressed his satisfaction with seeing them in Azerbaijan.

“Nusret-2025 Invitation Exercise”, hosted by Türkiye, is being conducted with the participation of naval and air forces from NATO and Türkiye, relevant units of the Coast Guard Command, as well as observers from various countries.

Distinguished Visitors Day is held within the "Eternity-2025" computer-assisted command-staff trilateral exercise organized in the Kars, Türkiye, with the participation of Azerbaijani, Georgian, and Turkish servicemen.

Within the framework of NATO’s Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP), an initial assessment meeting was held between DEEP’s distance education specialists and representatives of the National Defense University.

Relations between the Azerbaijani and Italian Navies are continuing successfully.
