On August 30, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov left for a working visit to fraternal Türkiye at the invitation of the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr.

On August 29, Türkiye’s Embassy in Azerbaijan hosted an official reception in Baku marking the Turkish Victory Day and the Armed Forces Day.

According to the action plan for 2025, a training-methodical session was held with lawyers of types of troops (forces), main departments, army corps and formations, chiefs and investigators of investigative services (units) of the Azerbaijan Army and officers of the Legal Department.

According to the relevant order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the medals “For services in the field of military cooperation” (posthumously) of Shehids, journalist Maharram Ibrahimov and cameraman Siraj Abishov, were awarded to their family members on August 27 at the Media and Public Affairs Department of the Ministry of Defense.

Within the framework of the agreement on cooperation in the field of military education signed between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, another group of Combined Arms Army’s servicemen departed for Isparta, Türkiye, to participate in the Mountain Commando Course.

According to the relevant order of the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, a graduation ceremony of the “Basic Diving Course” and the “Leadership in Diving Operations Course” organized in the Naval Forces was held.

In accordance with the training plan for 2025, the next training session involving a group of reservists began in the Combined Arms Army within the joint actions with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.

In accordance with the Individual Partnership Cooperation Program between Azerbaijan and NATO approved for 2025, an expert meeting with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Defense and NATO took place in one of the military units of the Land Forces.

In accordance with the training plan for 2025, training flights on Super Mushshak training aircraft were conducted in the Azerbaijan Air Force aircraft units.Following the health assessments, the flight crews were briefed on safety regulations and conducted a control inspection of aircraft.

In accordance with the training plan for 2025 approved by the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the military oath-taking ceremonies for young soldiers were held in the Azerbaijan Army on August 17.
