Graduation ceremony was held in the Combined Arms Army to mark the successful completion of the latest "Long-term active military service servicemen training course." The event commenced with commemorating the bright memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.

The National Defense University was also presented at the exhibition of higher educational institutions, held in the electronic examination building of the State Examination Center in order to assist prospective students in choosing a specialty.

In line with the current year's preparation plan, a seminar on the organization of military service was held at the Military Police Department of the Ministry of Defense with the main assistants of the chiefs of sections (units) for operational and combat training of the army corps and formations of the Azerbaijan Army.

In response to the recent extreme heat conditions, a series of preventive measures have been implemented across army corps, formations, military units, and special educational institutions to mitigate the risk of heatstroke and sunstroke among personnel of the Azerbaijan Army.

Pursuant to the 2025 preparation plan, training flights were conducted with the helicopter units of the Air Force.

In line with the 2025 bilateral cooperation plan, an expert meeting on “Technical Maintenance of Aviation Vehicles” was conducted with the participation of representatives from the Air Forces of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.

On July 24, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov held a meeting with the Chief of Defence of Italian Armed Forces, General Luciano Portolano, who is currently on a visit to Azerbaijan.
