Azerbaijani military personnel participating in the international "Winter Exercise 2025" in Kars, Türkiye, have demonstrated a high level of professionalism.

Under the training plan for 2025, the training session involving a group of reservists called from the reserve within the framework of joint actions with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription ended.

On January 30, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov conducted a meeting with the Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan.Upon welcoming the guest, Colonel General Z.Hasanov conveyed his satisfaction with seeing him in Azerbaijan.

Combined Arms Army conducted a graduation ceremony on the occasion of the successful completion of the next “Training course for long-term active military servicemen”.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov received the delegation led by Saudi Arabia Chief of General Staff General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili.

New recruits admitted to the Combined Arms Army pursuant to the relevant Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan are provided with ongoing support with a particular focus on facilitating their adaptation, which is approached with great sensitivity, and significant attention is dedicated to their training.

Within the visit to Türkiye, the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Commander of the Land Forces, Colonel General Hikmat Mirzayev met with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Türkiye, Army General Metin Gurak.

In line with the annual training plan of the Defense Ministry, training-methodical session was conducted with the participation of chiefs, psychologists and employees responsible for personnel affairs of branches (units) for ideological work and moral-psychological support of types of troops (forces), army corps, formations and special educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Army.
