Events aimed at effectively organizing servicemen’s cultural and comprehensive leisure time, as well as increasing the morale of military personnel are regularly held in the Azerbaijan Army.

According to the Land Forces’ training plan for 2024, a paramilitary cross championship was held among servicemen.

In accordance with the plan approved by the Azerbaijan Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov a series of events on the occasion of the Ramadan holiday were held in types of troops, Army Corps, formations and special educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Army.

On April 10, an event on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the military police of the Ministry of Defense and Ramadan holiday was held.

On April 9, starting from 16:00 to 16:50, Armenian armed forces units from the positions located in the direction of Arpa settlement of Keshishkend region using small arms of various calibers subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of Jahazir settlement of Sharur region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

In connection with implementation of the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the process of admission of new soldiers in the training military units of the Azerbaijan Army continues.

Computer-assisted command-staff exercise will be held between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan this year in accordance with the Bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2024 between Defense Ministries of the two countries.

On April 9, at about 10:40, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions located in the direction of Istisu settlement using small arms subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of Istisu settlement of Kalbajar region.

In accordance with the combat training plan for 2024 approved by the Minister of Defense, training flights were conducted with the Air Force’s helicopter units.

On April 8, starting from 23:35 to 23:45, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions located in the directions of Khoznavar, Khanazakh, Aravus settlements of the Gorus region using small arms of various calibers periodically subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of Sadinlar, Husulu, Malibayli and Jaghazur settlements of the Lachin region.
