The Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov met with the delegation led by the Director General Military Operations (DGMO) of the Pakistani Army, Major General Nauman Zakaria.

A meeting between the commander of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, Rear Admiral Subhan Bakirov, and the head of the Commandant of Pakistan Navy War College, Rear Admiral Muhammad Zubair Shafique was held on June 9, in Lahore, Pakistan.

On June 9, the Ministry of Defense of the Azerbaijan Republic hosted the meeting between the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan - Chief of the Main Operational Department Lieutenant General Ayaz Hasanov, and the delegation led by the Director General Military Operations (DGMO) of the Pakistani Army, Major General Nauman Zakaria.

Commander of the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan, Rear Admiral Subhan Bakirov, who is on a visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, has met with the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan Army, General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

As a result of additional investigations, it has been found out that a serviceman of the Armenian armed forces Artur Kartanyan, detained on June 8, 2021, in the territory of the Lachin region of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, penetrated the territory of Azerbaijan, not for the purpose of committing a provocation.

In accordance with the Combat Coordination Plan for 2021, the Nakhchivan garrison troops started regular Command-Staff Exercises on June 7.

A delegation led by the Commander of the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan, Rear Admiral Subhan Bekirov is on a visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
