On September 6, at about 12:10, illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeeping forces are temporarily stationed, attempted to to dig new trench roads in order to approach to the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of the Lachin region.

On September 6, the newly appointed military attaché of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Major General Soner Orucoglu was introduced to the Azerbaijan Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.

In accordance with the bilateral military cooperation program for 2023, a group of military personnel of the Military Police Department of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry visited Georgia.

On September 5 at about 19:35 , illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed attempted to install long-term fortification facilities in front of the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of the Khojavend region.The conducted work was immediately stopped as a result of urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijan Army Units.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has sent letter of condolences to the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza.The letter says:

According to the training plan for 2023 approved by the Azerbaijan Defense Minister, the next training session is being held with the participation of a group of reservists.

The National Defense University hosts Training on Improvement of Pedagogical Instructors which is being held as part of NATO's Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP).

Azerbaijan Army continues conducting competitions and classes with regard to start of the new training period.According to the plan, units were withdrawn from the points of permanent deployment to training centers and training range.The main purpose of holding competitions is to increase the knowledge and skills of military personnel, to maintain a high level of combat readiness.
