During the next stage of joint exercises of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey, the units have carried out various combat elements in the conditions of mutual consistency.

On 4 May 2017, the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, in accordance with its mandate, plans to conduct the next ceasefire monitoring exercise on the LOC in Aghdam region.

According to the instructions of the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, a visit of representatives of the mass media to the training center was organized on May 2, with the aim of making a media coverage for the joint exercises of the Armed Forces, which are held on May 1 to 5, in accordance with the agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.

In accordance with the agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, live-fire joint tactical exercises of the Armed Forces of the two countries started on May 1.

According to the combat training plan for the current year, practical trainings with live-fire on the subject "Shooting and control of artillery fire" were held at the artillery training center for cadets studying at the 4th year of the Azerbaijan High Military School named after Heydar Aliyev.

On 27 April 2017, the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, in accordance with its mandate, plans to conduct the next ceasefire monitoring exercise on the Azerbaijan and Armenia state border in the territory of Kazakh region, on the line of confrontation (LoC) of troops.

An exhibition of samples of weapons, military and special equipment, which will be used during the joint tactical exercises of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey to be held from May 1 to 5, was carried out.

In accordance with the agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, live-fire joint tactical exercises of the Armed Forces of the two countries will be held for the period from 1st to 5th May.

An extended meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Defence devoted to combat and moral-psychological training, as well as the results of large-scale exercises, was held in the frontline zone, with the participation of the leadership of the ministry, the commanders of the formations, their deputies, the heads of military institutes, as well as other officers in charge.
