The ceasefire monitoring exercise on the Line of Contact, near the village Kuropatkino (Khojavend region), held in accordance with the mandate of Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on December 6, ended with no incident.

On December 6, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has met with the  Сorps General Yavuz Türkgenci, Chief of the Main Directorate for Plans and Principles of the General Staff of the  Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey, who is visiting our country.

On 6 December 2017, the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in accordance with its mandate plans to conduct the next ceasefire monitoring exercise on the LOC, near the village Kuropatkino (Khojavend region).

The 10th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Military Dialogue will begin its work in Baku on December 5.

According to the combat training plan for 2017 approved by the Minister of Defense, all tank units of the Armed Forces conduct live-fire training.

The ceasefire monitoring exercise on the Azerbaijan and Armenia state border in the direction of Kazakh region, held in accordance with the mandate of Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on November 28, ended with no incident.

In accordance with the combat training plan, fourth-year cadets of the Azerbaijan High Military School named after Heydar Aliyev have started the field exit to the "Karaheybat" Training Center.

On 28 November 2017, the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, in accordance with its mandate, plans to conduct the next ceasefire monitoring exercise on the Azerbaijan and Armenia state border in the direction of Kazakh region.

In accordance with the Armed Forces preparation plan, exercises were conducted with formations and military units of the Air Force.

In accordance with the scenario of Command-Staff War Games, the units involved in practical actions, based on the operational situation, have thrown the simulated enemy back to his starting positions.

Practical actions of troops in the air, in the sea and on land with the performance of combat firing were checked at various firing ranges within the scope of Command-Staff War Games.

The next stage of the Military Command-Staff Military Games, continuing on the scale of the Armed Forces, was conducted in the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan.
