A delegation headed by the Chief of the Medical Service of the Armed Forces of Turkey, Rear Admiral Hayati Bilgich, visited the Main Clinical Hospital of the Armed Forces on June 13.
First the guests visited Alley of Martyrs, where they honored the memory of citizens who gave their lives for independence, the territorial integrity of our country, laid flowers to their graves and wreaths to the Memorial to Turkish soldiers.
Then the Turkish delegation, laid flowers to the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the territory of the hospital and honored his memory.
Major-General Natig Aliyev, the Chief of the Main Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense, informed the guests about the history of the establishment of the hospital, its activities, the prospects for the development of Azerbaijani military medicine, the training of military doctors and other issues of common interest.
Having acquainted himself with the various departments of the hospital, Rear Admiral H. Bilgich also visited the health buildings which is equipped with modern medical equipment and assigned for specialized medical service, and met with students and residents studying at the Military Medical Faculty.
Then the guests visited the Azerbaijan Medical University and met with the rector of the educational institution Professor Gerai Geraibeyli.
