The training on "Post-war realities and media" jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Media Development Agency, and the Center of Analysis of International Relations ended.
On the last day of the training, the participants visited the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense, the Military Publishing House, the editorial office of the newspaper "Azerbaijan Ordusu", as well as the Center for Documentary and Educational Films of the Azerbaijan Army.
Media representatives were briefed about the victory in the Patriotic War under the command of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
Detailed information was provided on the role of the Defense Ministry's press bodies in maintaining the moral and psychological condition of the Azerbaijan Army personnel at a high level, and in informing the public about the realities of the war during the combat operations.
At the same time, the instructions on the organization of the activities of media representatives in the liberated territories and other important points to be considered were explained.
An excursion to the Military History Museum of Azerbaijan was organized as part of the training.
The journalists got acquainted with various exhibits reflecting the military history of Azerbaijan, personal belongings and clothes of Shehids (Martyrs) fallen in the Patriotic War, and weapons seized from the enemy as trophies.
A briefing on "The role of the media in shaping the war history" and a short film "Journalists on the way to victory" were presented to participants.
