During the training-methodological session held with young officers who graduated from the Azerbaijan Military Academy named after Heydar Aliyev and the Military Medical Faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical University this year and serving in relevant positions in military units, the main attention was focused on improving tactical knowledge and decision-making skills of officers.
The driving and shooting skills of military personnel were practically checked on various simulators in the Educational and Training Center of the Combined Arms Army. Practical shooting exercises were carried out during the training, organized in conditions close to real combat to improve the knowledge gained by the officers involved in the training sessions in the virtual training ground.
An excursion to the cultural and historical sightseeing of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was organized as part of the training sessions. Additionally, young officers got acquainted with the social and service conditions of military personnel in formations and military units, as well as in the foremost positions of the Combined Arms Army.
The training sessions ended with a final event. Colonel Mansur Ahmadov, speaking at the event, stressed that young officers have shown high results during passing the tests.
The Commander of the Combined Arms Army, Colonel General Kerem Mustafayev, spoke about the importance of the training sessions held with young officers serving in the relevant positions in military units, has commended for exemplary participation in the training sessions, and awarded a group of officers.
