According to the training plan for the current year, the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army hosts training-methodological sessions with the chiefs of branches and subdivisions for ideological work and moral-psychological support of types of troops, Army Corps, formations, units, and special educational institutions (chairs and cycles, respectively), assistant chiefs of staff of military units for ideological work and moral-psychological support and psychologists.
First, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and the Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Chief of the Department for Ideological Work and Moral-Psychological Support, Colonel Elshad Abilov made a speech at the training-methodical session, and informed about the work done in the field of ideological work and moral-psychological support during 2023, and the upcoming tasks.
The Chief of the Department noted that the fighting spirit and moral-psychological state of the servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army is at a high level, and brought to the attention of the participants that the events held in the military units with regard to the declaration of 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in Azerbaijan are organized and held in a planned manner.
Officers of various departments and military units of the Defense Ministry spoke and expressed their thoughts and opinions about the work done in the direction of increasing the moral-psychological level of the personnel and other topics affecting the combat capability of the army.
Then, a member of the Milli Majlis, Arzu Naghiyev spoke on the topic "Current socio-political events in the region and the world and the activities of the leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan in this field."
Based on the plan, speeches were heard on the principles of information security, social and political events taking place in the region and the world, and other topics.
