The VI scientific-practical conference of the Student Scientific Society at the Military Medical Faculty of Azerbaijan Medical University was  convened.
The conference, attended by medical officers from the Medical Department and the Military Medical Faculty, as well as professors, teachers, students, and cadets of Azerbaijan Medical University, observed a moment of silence to honor the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and the Shehids (Martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of the Motherland. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
At the conference, discussions centered around innovations implemented in the realm of military medicine as part of ongoing reforms in the Azerbaijan Army. Topics included the advancement of modern military medical science, such as "Physico-chemical and bacteriological analysis of water samples in liberated territories," "Characteristics of sanitary losses in modern war conditions," and "Future perspectives and advantages of robotic surgery." Additionally, reports and speeches covering various other topics were presented, fostering detailed discussions among participants.
The overall activity of the Student Scientific Society was positively evaluated, with particular emphasis placed on the importance of furthering theoretical and practical experiences and conducting research on the aforementioned topics.
