In preparation for the "Sea Cup-2018" international contest, the teams of the participating countries entered the training facility on the Caspian Sea.

All the teams successfully conducted training firing at air targets. A small balloon filled with a helium-air mixture, which completely replaced the use of aviation and reduced the consumption of shells were used for the first time during the training. This innovation allows referees to evaluate the success of the combat exercise in the shortest time and to confirm the destruction of the air target using photo and video recording.

In the course of the next preparatory stage, the crews of the ships are to conduct a preparatory artillery firing at the naval target and to work out the actions for the survivability of the ship.

Crew training will last until July 31.
