The opening ceremony of the next enrollment for the Strategic Researches and State Defense Management Academic Courses of the War College of the Armed Forces was held.
First, the memory of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and the Shehids (Martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of the country was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The Chief of the War College of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General Heydar Piriyev, on behalf of the Minister of Defense, congratulated the participants on the occasion of opening the academic course and wished them success in their studies and work.
It was noted that during studies, the listeners will be given lectures on international relations, global security, foreign policy, strategy and defense planning, national defense and defense resource management. The educational process will last 5 months, in February-June of each year in the form of lectures, seminars, group work, and practical exercises.
