According to the combat training plan for 2022 approved by the Minister of Defense, the next graduation ceremony of the Marines Commando Basic Courses held in one of the military units of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces was conducted.
First, the memory of the Shehids was honored and flowers were laid at their monument erected in the territory of the military unit.
The memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs) who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Commander of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Subhan Bakirov, greeted the graduates who successfully completed the course, conveyed the congratulations of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense to them, and wished success in their future service. He emphasized that such courses, which contribute to the further improvement of the professionalism of military personnel, will be continued hereinafter.
Vice Admiral S. Bakirov noted that the commandos are always ready to successful accomplishment of important tasks both at sea and on land.
The Naval Forces Commander thanked the officers from Türkiye and whole staff for their support in organizing and holding the high-level course, which involved professional instructors from fraternal country.
Then, the Course leader attached an emblem to the symbolic stump and the graduates were presented certificates.
In the end, the distinguished servicemen and instructors were awarded with honorary certificates and valuable gifts.
It should be noted that during the courses, the participants increased their theoretical and practical skills in various subjects.
