The Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov who is carrying out the overall leadership of the large-scale operational-tactical exercises and the leadership of the Ministry visited the training centers.
During the meeting, held at the main command post under the leadership of Colonel General Z. Hasanov, reports of the commanding staff and other officials on the dynamically changing situation and decisions made were heard. At the same time, according to the plan of the exercise, on the basis of the data obtained from the reconnaissance of the area, the participants of the exercise specified the tasks and organized the interoperability of the troops on the terrain board.
Observing the training of the units conducted according to the received combat mission, the Minister of Defense spoke to the military personnel, gave his recommendations and presented valuable gifts to a group of servicemen who distinguished themselves in the service.
During the live-fire tactical training of units, military personnel demonstrated the ability to overcome obstacles and go over to the offensive against the enemy.
The Minister of Defense have visited the classrooms and training points created in the territory, also checked the military equipment involved in the exercises, gave relevant instructions in regard to the use of ammunition and the participation of military personnel in the exercises, as well as on an accurate fulfillment of tasks and orders.
Colonel General Zakir Hasanov visited the new canteen of the military unit got acquainted with the conditions created here, inspected the food warehouse. Then the Minister of Defense had lunch with the military personnel.
