A commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the birthdays of Lieutenant Colonel Garib Bakhshaliyev, Junior Lieutenants Vusal Muradov, and Seymur Abbasov, who died as Shehids (Martyrs) in the Patriotic War was organized by the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov at the Azerbaijan Military Academy named after Heydar Aliyev.
The event was attended by teachers, officers, and cadets of the Military Academy, family members and comrades-in-arms of the martyrs, a representative of the Executive Authority of Khatai District, and other guests.
At the event, the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids who died for the independence and territorial integrity of our lands was honored with observing a minute of silence. The State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
During the ceremony, the speakers spoke about the historic victory of our army under the leadership of our victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the examples of heroism and courage shown in battles.
The comrades-in-arms of our Shehids spoke about their short and glorious combat path, as well as shared memories about them.
The family members of the Shehids Junior Lieutenants Vusal Muradov and Seymur Abbasov got acquainted with the Military Academy in which their sons had studied and viewed the corners dedicated to the memory of the Shehids in the dormitory.
The ceremony continued with patriotic songs performed by the singers of the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov and the khananda Kanan Bayramov.
